Lindenhurst's 3rd Annual St. Patrick's Parade Steps Off Saturday

The Lindenhurst Parade Committee is excited to announce that the Third Annual St. Patrick's Parade is set to “paint the town green” this Saturday, March 30th, 2024, starting at 12 noon. This vibrant celebration will bring the spirit of Ireland to the heart of Lindenhurst, promising a day filled with culture, joy, and community spirit.

This year's parade is honored to have Kevin J. McCaffrey, Presiding Officer of the Suffolk County Legislature, lead as the Grand Marshal. Under his guidance, the parade will begin on Hartford Street by Fireman's Park, marching westward on Hartford before making a south turn onto Wellwood Avenue. The procession will march through the northern part of the Village, eventually turning east on North Hoffman Avenue and concluding near the LIRR commuter lots.

The Third Annual Lindenhurst St. Patrick's Parade is more than just a celebration; it's a community gathering that draws thousands to the beautiful streets of Lindenhurst Village. Spectators can expect a day filled with traditional Irish music, dance, and an array of floats that capture the essence of St. Patrick's Day.

In a special tribute, the Parade Committee will hold a moment of silence to honor NYPD Police Officer Jonathan Diller, from Massapequa, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty. This solemn homage will remind us all of the sacrifices made by those who serve and protect our communities.
