LMS Students Donate to Breast Cancer Awareness

Lindenhurst Middle School Student Council members recently volunteered to collect donations for breast cancer research.

The students gave “smencils,” scented pencils made from recycled newspapers, to those who donated.

And for their effort they were able to collect $225 during the course of three days during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Thank you to Student Council advisors Patricia Natale and Nancy Bracht spearheaded the students' fundraising effort, and school officials thanked them for that effort.
