Man Seriously Injured In North Amityville Shooting: Police
The shooter is still at large, police say.
NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY — A man is seriously injured after a shooting in North Amityville on Saturday, Suffolk County Police said.
A 29-year-old man was standing outside a residence on Prospect Street at about 3:30 p.m, when he was shot. The shooter was described as a male in a dark-colored 4-door sedan, police said.
The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
