Man Steals More Than $4K Worth Of iPhones From LI Store: Police

The man is currently sought after by police.

NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY — A man who stole several iPhones worth more than $4,000 from a North Amityville store is being sought after by Suffolk County Police.

Around 1:40 p.m. on Dec. 16, a man stole five iPhones from a T-Mobile store at 805 Broadway in North Amityville, police said. The iPhones have a combined value of $4,430.

The man fled in a black BMW X5, with New York license plate KLV9607. He faces charges of grand larceny, police said.
