Motorcyclist in Serious Condition after Accident
Man was airlifted to Stony Brook University Medical Center.
An accident involving a motorcycle and a car in Lindenhurst on Friday evening has left one man in serious condition.
According to Suffolk Police, an adult man was riding a motorcycle Southbound on North Strong Avenue when a car driven by a woman pulled onto 29th Street heading West.
Police said the motorcyclist "laid the bike down," and hit his head on the ground.

Police are currently investigating whether or not the motorcycle and car made contact.
The motorcyclist was taken to by helicopter (which landed at nearby ), police said.

The SCPD noted the man is in serious condition.
No charges have been filed, police added.
Police officials had no other details about July 13 accident or the identities of the man or the woman at this time.
