North Lindenhurst Native Named to Daktronics All-East Region Team

Sophomore midfielder for Holy Family was among league's top scorers this season.

A North Lindenhurst resident was named to Daktronics All-East Region second team for the first time in her college career.

Lisa Abramski, a North Lindenhurst resident and Kellenberg Memorial graduate currently attending Holy Family University, was voted to the team by the Sports Information Directors for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), the East Coast Conference (ECC) and the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10).

Ambramski, a midfielder, was also previously named to the All-CACC second team for the first time in her career earlier in November.

She was among the conference's top scorers, finishing the season tied for the Tigers' lead in scoring with 15 points. She also scored a career high seven goals and one assist in her second full season at Holy Family.

Her 15 points were ranked ninth overall in the CACC and her goals were ranked seventh.

Abramski led the Tigers to a 11-6-3 overall record this season and a 8-1-3 mark in conference games, helping claim the first regular season title for the Tigers since 2007. The Tigers advanced to the championship game in their conference this season as well.

Abramski has ten career goals and seven assists, totalling 27 points, in her two college seasons.
