Officials: After-School Activities Still a Go for Thurs.

Lindenhurst District officials say school opening went well, with no delays despite the flooding.

Despite the Winter storm that's been impacting the area since Wednesday, all of the flooding that residents reported this morning and the remaining potential for snow tonight into Friday, no after-school activities have been postponed or canceled "as of now."

That's according to Lindenhurst School District officials on Thursday mid-afternoon.

They also told Lindenhurst Patch in an e-mail that school opening went well this morning, though some residents reported there was too much flooding in some areas South of Montauk Highway to have kids picked up at the regular bus stops.
