
Several Lindenhurst boys from Cub Scout Pack 1421 recently committed to taken the next step in their scouting careers.
Vincent Blum, Robert Zdenek, Nicholas Dardano, James O’Brien and Brandon Kern took part in their Bridging Over ceremony, which signifies their decision to become Boy Scouts.
This ceremony was part of the Troop’s annual Blue and Gold Banquet, which was held on April 14 at the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1421 in Lindenhurst.
Among those to congratulate them on their decision and wish them well on their journey were several local officials.
Officials included Village of Lindenhurst Trustee Mike Lavorata; Deputy Presiding Officer of the Suffolk County Legislature Wayne Horsley; Angel Rivera of New York State Senator Phil Boyle’s office; NYS Assemblyman Robert Sweeney; Village Trustee Joan M. Masterson; Town of Babylon Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez; Town Supervisor Rich Schaffer; and Mayor Tom Brennan.
