Photos: Lindy Robotics Team Receives Honors
The Lindenhurst High School Robotics team receives a citation from New York State Assemblyman Robert Sweeney for its outstanding achievement and dedication.
The Lindenhurst High School Robotics Team 533 - aka the Psicotics - was presented with a citation from New York State Assemblyman Robert Sweeney for their outstanding achievement and dedication.
The team promotes technological skills that will help students for future careers. The students on the team also enjoy various leadership and friendship-building activities.
The team has collected and distributed food and clothing for Hurricane Sandy victims, as well as assisted the local fire department in helping local residents in recovery efforts.

The Psicotics participated in the SBPLI Regionals at Hofstra University and advanced to the quarterfinal round. The team also went to Saint Louis to compete in the FIRST Championship.
