Pit Bull Goes Missing in Lindenhurst

Owner reports she was stolen last week, according to a post on the Lost and Found Pets of LI (LAFPOLI) Facebook page.

A young female pit bull has gone missing in Lindenhurst, and has been missing since last week.

That's according to a post on the Lost and Found Pets of LI Facebook page, which indicates that the dog's owner says the pup was stolen.

The dog's name is Chyna, and she's two years old and weighs approximately 60 to 65 pounds.

Chyna's described in the post as a "very friendly Blue Nose Pit Bull. She was wearing a purple collar when she went missing - owner is not sure if the tag is still on the collar, [but] the tag states her name and address."

The post says Chyna "went missing on September 12 from Hoffman Avenue near Delaware Avenue. Owner reports that she was stolen, and is desperate to find her."
