Police Nab North Lindenhurst Bank Robber
Police arrested Mark Brown, of North Lindenhurst, on Wednesday, and charged him with the robbery of the Citibank on Sunrise Highway on Monday.
Suffolk Police have arrested a North Lindenhurst man for Monday's robbery of on East Sunrise Highway.
Mark Brown, 35, was picked up by the SCPD today, and charged with robbery in the third degree, police said.
Police said Brown purportedly entered the bank, located at 120 Sunrise Highway between North Fulton and North Greene Avenues, at approximately 10 a.m. on July 23, and handed a teller a note that threatened violence and demanded money.

According to police, the employee gave him cash from the drawer, and Brown - who lives nearby on the other side of on North Ontario Avenue - allegedly fled on foot.
Brown will be now be held overnight at the Seventh Precinct, police said.

He's scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip, police officials added.
