Kevin McCaffrey Wins Reelection For Suffolk County LD 14

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Suffolk County residents went to the polls on Tuesday to choose their pick for the 14th Legislative district.

With no districts left to be counted, according to unofficial Suffolk County Board of Elections results, the winner was incumbent Kevin McCaffery, who gained 9,117 votes, or 69.90 percent.

Challenger Edward Buturla obtained 3,910 votes, or 29.98 percent.

The district consists of Lindenhurst Village, Babylon Village, the hamlets of West Babylon and North Lindenhurst, portions of Copiague, North Babylon, and Babylon's barrier beach communities.
