Results From The Race For New York Assembly District 11

LONG ISLAND, NY — Democrat Kwani O'Pharrow appears to lead the race for New York State Assembly District 11.

According to unofficial results from the Suffolk County Board of Elections, O'Pharrow has the lead by one vote, with 23,855 votes (49.97 percent) over his Republican challenger Joe Cardinale's 23,854 (49.97 percent).

The 11th State Assembly District covers portions of Suffolk County including Lindenhurst, Copiague, Amityville, North Lindenhurst, Wyandanch, parts of East Farmingdale, and parts of North Babylon.
