Rollover Crash Hospitalizes Driver On Long Island: Police
A man was hospitalized following a rollover crash involving a parked car and a utility pole on Long Island, Suffolk police say.
LINDENHURST, NY — A man was hospitalized following a rollover crash that involved two vehicles on Long Island on Thursday afternoon, Suffolk County police told Patch.
According to police, an adult male driving a 2021 Honda was heading westbound on Sunrise Highway between Wellwood Avenue and 41st Street in Lindenhurst when he struck the back of a 2020 Infiniti parked and unoccupied on the shoulder.
After hitting the Infiniti, the Honda struck a pole and overturned around 12:55 p.m., police said.

The driver was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
