School District Security Workshop Being Held Wed.
Board of Education will discuss security measures being taken throughout the district.
The Lindenhurst School District Board of Education will hold a Security Workshop this Wednesday.
The workshop will detail security measures the district has taken and will take to protect students in the district.
All members of the public, including parents and students, are invited by the board to take part and attend the open event.
The program will be held at Lindenhurst High School on Wed., Oct. 9 starting at 8 p.m.
The workshop was originally scheduled to be held at the McKenna Building, but was moved after a large turnout was expected by board members.
The district often holds workshops throughout the school year on different topics, including security and testing.
