A Toast to Legacy and New Beginnings
Lindenhurst Chamber Celebrates Change at Great South Bay Brewery
The atmosphere was fun and thoughtful at the Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce meeting held on October 15 at the Great South Bay Brewery. Laughter and clinking glasses filled the air as members gathered to celebrate not just another meeting, but a milestone moment in Lindenhurst history.
All eyes turned to Chamber President Jo-Ann Boettcher, whose 28 years of dedicated service have left an indelible mark on the business community. As she prepared to pass the torch, members raised their glasses in a heartfelt toast honoring her decades of leadership, passion, and commitment.
Over the past five years, Joanne has worked closely with fellow board members, mentoring them for the responsibilities that come with steering one of Long Island’s most vibrant and revitalized business communities. Under her watch, Lindenhurst has blossomed, its downtown alive with energy, thanks to events like WOW Wednesdays on wellwood and Santa in the park where businesses, families, and neighbors gather to celebrate local life.
