Village Board Approves Appointments
Several per diem appointments have been approved by the Village.

Among the topics discussed at last Tuesday night's Board of Trustees meeting at Village Hall were per diem appointments and fund transfers.
Approvals
The Board approved the Village Treasurer's Office recommendation to use the remaining 2009 drainage bond funds to pay for current existing outstanding drainage repair and maintenance expenses.
The trustees moved the remaining funds ($18,535.93) be transferred to the 2012-13 general fund budget drainage repair and maintenance line item for current outstanding drainage projects and expenses.

In addition, the Board approved a leave of absence without pay of two different Department of Public Works employees, plus a probationary appointment of another DPW employee at $16.00 per hour.
Five per diem EMT appointments by Mayor Tom Brennan to the Lindenhurst Fire Department at $14.00 per hour were also approved.
