William Rall Students Experience Real World Math Lessons
Elementary students learn first-hand why math lessons are important when they grow up.

Students at William Rall Elementary School recently got a hands-on math lesson from real world applications from the Junior Achievement volunteers.
The volunteers, most of which were corporate workers, shared math lessons with students in the third, fourth and fifth grades showing how what they were learning in the classroom would be very useful many years down the line.
Third-graders took on careers and the skills necessary to work in those field, learning how each business contributes to a city.
Fourth-graders learned about the important of earning, spending and, especially, saving money from their future careers.
Fifth-graders learned about the demands of the job market, including job professions with high-growth and high-demand as well as the globalization of businesses in our very connected world.
