The 5th annual Fundraiser for the Waterfront Warriors will be held at The Inn, at 943 W. Beech St., on July 13. The event is from 4 to 7 p.m.
$40 for open bar and hors d'oeurves. Prizes, raffles, 50/50 and a live auction. Among the items for auction is a behind-the-scenes tour for up to four people of Orange County Choppers' shop and headquarters in Newburgh. DJ Sparky & DJ Kimmie C will host Saturday’s event.
All proceeds for the event will provide a week of activities and events for wounded, ill and injured service men and women and their families during their visit to Long Beach.
On July 21 the events start with a 5K run at New York Avenue and West Broadway at 8 a.m. and a welcome parade for the soldiers on West Beech Street from Ohio Avenue to New York Avenue at 3 p.m., followed by a barbecue at Long Beach Catholic Regional School.Find out what's happening in Long Beachfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
