Olympic Gold Medalist Coming to Long Beach: Volleyball player Misty May-Treanor, a three-time Olympic gold medalist, will host the Dream in Gold Juniors Clinic and Tournament Series in Long Beach starting Friday.
Musical Performances: The Long Beach summer concert series continues on Monday when Six Gun Country performs their brand of country music on National Beach; Andy Cooney will play Irish songs at New York Beach on Wednesday; and Vintage Bliss will perform everything from Frank Sinatra to Bobby Darin to Motown at Neptune Beach on Thursday. All concerts start at 8 p.m.

Be Red Cross Ready: American Red Cross staff will present personal preparedness information, followed by a question and answer session, on the 6th floor at City Hall at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Blood Drive: The City of Long Beach will host an annual a blood drive at the Ice Arena from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
