LI Eateries Among 2022’s All-Star U.S. Restaurants: DoorDash
Out of 100 restaurants listed, 4 Long Island eateries were named both top-rated and efficient, DoorDash says.
LONG ISLAND, NY — When it comes to consistently delivering delicious food and top-notch service, one restaurant on Long Island is among the best in the United States, according to delivery app DoorDash.
DoordDash recently released this year’s list of Most-Loved All-Star Restaurants, which recognizes 100 top-rated eateries that excel in food quality, service, reliability, and overall experience.
According to DoorDash, fewer than 1 percent of restaurants on the platform qualify for the list.

Location: 155 Bay Shore Rd, Deer Park, NY
In business for almost 30 years, the Deer Park community can count on Emma's Deli to serve delicious breakfast all day, fresh chopped salads, panini’s, sandwiches, burgers, skirt steak, salmon, açaí bowls, and more.
"You can basically order whatever you want when you come in here," said Jeremy Barakat, whose family has owned the deli since 2007. "We're just that type of place and try and be as customer friendly as possible."

Open since 2018, Iron Poke combines Japanese and Hawaiian style cuisine to create mouth-watering and customizable sushi burritos and poke bowls.
The restaurant also has its own TikTok account where viewers can vicariously see all of its poke bowl variations.

"We have so many regular customers that enjoy coming here all the time," said an employee. "It's amazing that we made it (the list)."

For Koi Kokoro, sushi is perceived as an art form as much as a satisfying meal. According to its website, "KoiKOKORO" which means "sincerely, truly, heartily", offers the community both signature and classic sushi rolls.
Location: 703 Medford Ave, Patchogue, NY
A family-run business for almost 21 years, Mexican Grill offers its community classic Mexican dishes, from quesadillas, burritos, tacos, tortes, and more.
" We love what we do," said Misa Garcia, whose family owns the restaurant. "We like to treat our customers right."
All-Star restaurants are the top-rated in DoorDash’s Most Loved program, according to a company release. In order to be a Most-Loved All-Star, a restaurant had to be among the highest-rated on DoorDash and achieved Most-Loved status for at least 10 out of 12 months from April 2021 to April 2022.
