Long Island Ice Cream Tour Is The Tastiest Way To Beat The Heat

Sign up to join the group and sample flavors from creameries all over Suffolk County this Sunday, which is National Ice Cream Day.

LONG ISLAND, NY — This Sunday is National Ice Cream Day. And what better way to celebrate than by spending all day eating some of the best ice cream that Long Island has to offer?

In addition to being National Ice Cream Day, Sunday is also the 11th Annual Long Island Ice Cream Tour. A special itinerary will lead participants to some of the best creameries in Suffolk County that feature hand-made ice creams. Registration for the event will get you a T-shirt, as well as special discounts at many of the creameries to be visited.

“Despite the challenges of the global pandemic and social distancing, 2020 was a banner year for LIICT," said co-founder Jeff Noreman. "This delicious trek across Long Island provides a fun way to meet friends — old and new — while sampling the area’s best homemade ice cream. A majority of the participants continue to attend year after year.”
