Two Bridges Blaze Injures One Firefighter, FDNY Says
A Monday morning fire at 1 Catherine St., home to the Gong Cha bubble tea shop, has left one firefighter with minor injuries.

TWO BRIDGES, NY — A Monday morning fire at a Two Bridges building left one firefighter with minor injuries before it was declared under control, authorities said.
A fire in the basement of the building at 1 Catherine St. was reported at about 10:19 a.m., an FDNY spokesman told Patch. The fire extended from the building's basement to its shaft, but did not reach additional floors of the building, the spokesman said.

The fire was declared under control by 11:30, according the FDNY. The cause of the fire is unknown and is currently being investigated.

The six-story building is a mixed-use structure and is home to the Gong Cha bubble tea shop.
