• Easily accessible AEDs to be installed in Carmel's parks (midhudsonnews.com) — New automated external defibrillators are being installed at several Mahopac parks, including Airport, Baldwin Meadows, Jimmy McDonough, and two units at Sycamore Park, with another at Camarda Park in Carmel. Prompted by new state rules, Carmel officials approved six weather-protected LifePack units so residents and athletes have quicker access to lifesaving equipment during emergencies.
