Apartment Complex Takes Location Of Once Crime-Riddled Motel
The Cornerstone at Yorkshire features 80 units of varying size.
LYNBROOK, NY — It's new beginnings on the site of the former Capri Motel Inn in Lynbrook, which was torn down two years ago.
A ribbon-cutting was held on Jan. 20 for the 80-unit Cornerstone at Yorkshire apartment complex on Freer Street, Newsday reported.
The Capri Motel Inn had become an eyesore in the village with several robberies and drug busts, Newsday said.

The complex features studio apartments, along with one-and two-bedroom options. Monthly rent ranges from $2,325 to $4,050. There are also eight affordable units, starting at $1,689 per month, the article stated.
