Robert W. Carbonaro School Spreads Cheer During Annual Holiday Concert

Robert W. Carbonaro School in the Valley Stream 24 School District recently brought the community together for its annual Holiday Concert, a festive celebration of music and seasonal cheer.

The event featured a spirited performance by the school’s chorus, led by Mrs. Ashley Wilkey, which delighted the audience with a selection of popular holiday songs. In addition to their musical performances, chorus members shared warm seasonal messages, adding a heartfelt touch to the evening.

The concert also highlighted the talents of the school’s band students, led by Mr. Nicholas Shmorhun. Students showcased their skills through several holiday-themed musical pieces. Their energetic performances added depth and excitement to the program.

“This concert is a wonderful opportunity for our students to share the results of their hard work while bringing joy to our families and community,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Unal Karakas. “We are incredibly proud of our students’ dedication and performance, and deeply grateful to our music teachers whose commitment to music education nurtures creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of the arts.”
