Answer to Massapequa Mind Boggler

Well, we started you off easy.  

Most of you who took a shot at our first ever Massapequa Mind Boggler answered it correctly.  On Monday, we put up a picture of a familiar landmark in the area, and asked you where it was taken. Some clues were provided to give you some help.

Those of you who responded in the comments section  were right on the money in saying the photo was the crying child depicted in the statue at Massapequa Fire Department Monument located near the Massapequa Park  railroad station.

The child is safely in the hands of a heroic firefighter as depicted in the photo of the full statue posted with this article.
