Aug 31. Kindergarten Kicks Off

Kindergarten: Massapequa's for everyone but Kindergarten students on Thursday.  On Friday it's time for the younger students to return to school. At the end of the day there will be a three day weekend.

LIRR: Friday marks the start of the Labor Day weekend and the Long Island Rail Road will add extra trains in the early afternoon. There will be additional trains departing Penn Station on the the Babylon Branch, which serves Massapequa and Massapequa Park at 2:32 p.m., 3 p.m. and 3:31 p.m.

Taxes: Friday is the last day that delinquent tax payers can pay general taxes with a penalty in the town of Oyster Bay. The Receiver of Taxes will not accept payment on Sept 1.

Yoga:  This weekly class meets at the at 9 p.m.
