MASSAPEQUA, NY — Former president Donald Trump is expected to attend the wake of NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller on Thursday, the Associated Press reported.

Diller, 31, of Massapequa Park, was gunned down during a traffic stop in Far Rockaway on Monday.

A spokesperson for the NYPD said they are anticipating Trump at the Massapequa Funeral Home, NBC News reported.

Trump said, in part, in a Truth Social post: "To Officer Diller’s family, and all of the other brave men and women of law enforcement who put your lives on the line every day, we love you, we appreciate you, and we will always stand with you!"

Diller is survived by a wife, Stephanie, and a one-year-old child. The funeral is Saturday morning in Massapequa.
