The Nassau County Health Department issued a warning to those who attended Christmas Day mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
Those who took communion wafers at the 10:30 a.m. and noon mass on December 25, may have been exposed to the hepititis a virus.
Although the disease is rarely fatal, health officials are urging those who potentially were exposed to the virus to get vaccinated.

The health department is giving out vaccinations for free from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church School auditorium at 855 Carmans Road in Massapequa Park.
