Presidents' Day: Monday is presidents Day, a federal state and local holiday originally celebrated to honor the birthday of our first Chief Executive, George Washington. It's still officially "Washington's Birthday," as far as the Feds are concerned, but many Americans now consider it a day to honor all presidents.

Closed: Most federal and state offices are closed. Both Town Hall in Oyster Bay and Town Hall South in Massapequa will also be on holiday. Village Hall in Massapequa Park is also closed, as is the Massapequa Public Library.
