Man Robbed Massapequa Dunkin' Donuts At Gunpoint

Police say the man ordered a coffee and then pulled out a gun to rob the store.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — Nassau County police are searching for a man who robbed a Nassau Dunkin' Donuts this morning.

According to police, a man walked into the Dunkin' Donuts at 20 Broadway in Massapequa at 11:34 a.m. and approached the counter. He ordered a coffee, and then pulled out a handgun and demanded cash from the register.

The employee in the store gave him money, and the man fled on foot east on Veteran's Boulevard.

No one was injured.

Police say the robber was a white man, 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black face mask, a green hooded sweatshirt, black pants and dark shoes.

Police ask anyone with information about the robbery to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800 -244 – TIPS, or dial 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
