Massapequa Crime Report: Catalytic Converter Thefts

Jan. 8 to Jan. 16.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Larceny From Vehicles

On Jan. 9, a catalytic converter was stolen from a 2007 Toyota Suburban at the parking lot of the Massapequa LIRR station, police said. The theft accurred sometime between 6:10 a.m. and 6:10 p.m.

On Jan. 11, a catalytic converter was stolen from a 2005 Toyota Sequoia in the Parking lot of the Massapequa LIRR station, police said. The theft took place between 8:15 a.m. and 6:45 p.m.

On Jan. 9 a car was ransacked on Rhode Island Avenue, police said.

Grand Larceny

On Jan. 9., some jewelry was reported stolen from a residence on Clocks Boulevard, police said. 

DWI

On Jan. 10, Timothy Knight, 40, of Richmond, Indiana was arrested at the intersection of Sunrise Highway and Old Sunrise Highway and charged with DWI, police said.

On Jan. 10, Jamie Dlugolonski, 29, of Levittown, was arrested on Merrick Road and charged with DWI, police said.
