Massapequa Park To Unveil New 9/11 Memorial

The village will unveil the memorial and pay tribute to those who were killed 20 years ago.

MASSAPEQUA PARK, NY — The Village of Massapequa Park will be holding a ceremony to unveil its new 9/11 memorial next week.

Mayor Daniel Pearl and the Board of Trustees will hold the ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 11 in front of Village Hall, located at 151 Front St.

In addition to the unveiling of the memorial, there will be a ceremony paying tribute to those who died in the attacks on 9/11, as well as those who have died from related illnesses since.
