Massapequa Schools Welcome New Teachers

The teachers were welcomed to the district with a four-day orientation before the new school year began.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — The Massapequa School District welcomed more than two dozen new teachers as the 2021-22 school year gets under way.

The new staffers were introduced to all aspects of the district, from curriculum to technology to special education, during a four-day new teacher orientation program from Aug. 23-26 at McKenna Elementary School.

The first-year faculty members will be teaching a variety of subjects and grade levels at the secondary and elementary levels.
