It's technically not a holiday but don't tell that to Massapequa's football fans and TV commercial aficionados looking to chow down Super Sunday.
"It's our biggest day of the year," said Al Horowitz, who owns Smokin' Al's Famous BBQ Joiint. "Father's Day comes close, but this is the biggest."
Horowitz says he's receiving 3 to 4 orders every 15 minutes at his Massapequa Park and Bay Shore locations.

Among the most popular items ordered are the ribs, pulled pork, nachos and Smokin' Al's famous over-sized chicken wings. "One wing is a meal in itself," he said.

Despite the restaurant's popularity as a Super Bowl caterer, one thing Horowitz does not do is create a special menu for the day.
"My theory is, if it's not broke don't fix it," he said.
Many people look for themes for their Super Bowl party. One popular theme this year is the food of the host city, New Orleans.
That's right up Big Daddy's alley. The Big Easy-style eatery has football themed catering packages of Po'boys chicken wings and ribs. "The Quarterback Sneak" gives you 3 po' boys and an entree, while "The Hail Mary" includes a 6-Foot po' boy, and half trays of smoked wings and rib tips.
"A lot of people are ordering the muffaletta [po'boy] with the game in New Orleans this year," said Big Daddy's chef Craig Bedell.
Bedell said that Big Daddy's has a lot of orders as well. "We do a lot of wings," he said, adding that the eatery will also cater to order.
Finn's Deli will cater the whole day for you, from breakfast to heroes ans well as hot and cold buffet trays. Customers who mention patch will get 25 percent off all hot trays except wings.
If you're looking to go Italian, Seafood or a host of other entrees. Uncle Guiseppe's has it on the menu. If you're rooting for the Ravens, they even have crab cakes.
