Teen Bicyclist Seriously Injured After Car Collision In Nassau: Police

MASSAPEQUA PARK, NY — A teenager on a bicycle was badly hurt when he was struck by a car over the weekend in Massapequa Park, police said.

During the overnight hours on Saturday, the 14-year-old victim was hit on Sunrise Highway near the intersection of Block Boulevard, police said.

He was taken to an area hospital in serious condition, police said.

The 23-year-old driver, involved in the crash, remained at the scene, police said.

There were no other injuries, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
