Weigh in on Primary Turnout

Thursday is primary day in Massapequa.

That is unusual, because primaries are usually held on Tuesdays in New York state. But Gov. Cuomo signed legislation to move it to avoid a conflict with the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Locally, there will be a Republican primary in the ninth assembly district  between incumbent Joseph Saladino and Rich Young, a lawyer from West Islip. 

Turnout is traditionally lighter for primaries than they are for general elections and we want to know how often you vote for your party's nominee.
