• Section X student athletes discuss leadership initiatives (northcountrynow.com) — Massena student-athletes Samantha Beard and Dylan Hendricks are representing their district on the new Section X Student Athlete Advisory Committee, helping shape sportsmanship and leadership efforts across the region. Students from 24 districts met in Canton to discuss barriers like transportation and costs, and proposed ideas such as district-level SAAC groups, more in-person meetings, and programs connecting older athletes with younger students.
