• Mechanicville PD searching for suspects of armed robbery, assault (news10.com) — Mechanicville police are searching for suspects after an attempted armed robbery and assault that began as an online watch sale meetup, leaving a 21-year-old man injured. One suspect from Schenectady has been arrested, but others, some reportedly masked and armed, remain at large. Authorities say more arrests are expected as the investigation continues. 
• New York State Man Arrested For Allegedly Brandishing Weapon (wpdh.com) — A 61-year-old Mechanicville man was arrested after state police say he threatened someone with a kitchen knife during a December 6 altercation at a home in nearby Halfmoon. Troopers later stopped his vehicle on Cemetery Road and issued him an appearance ticket for mid-January. In a separate case, police also arrested two Florida residents after a disturbance in Cortlandville involving a handgun.
• Stillwater's Ihnatolya named Class C coach of the Year on girls' soccer all-state team (thedailymail.net) — Mechanicville girls’ soccer standouts Tanner Eiseman and Gianna Pitts earned first- and third-team spots on the Class C all-state list, highlighting local talent in a strong regional showing. Stillwater coach Christine Ihnatolya was named Class C Coach of the Year, with several neighboring schools also placing players on the statewide teams.
