Wallet Stolen In Medford, Credit Cards Used In Selden: Police

A man and woman used the stolen cards at Target after a man swiped the wallet out of a woman's purse, police say.

MEDFORD, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the people who, police said, stole a wallet from a purse at a store in Medford and then used the stolen credit cards in Selden the same day.

A man took a wallet out of a woman’s purse at Sam’s Club, at 2950 Horseblock Road, Medford, around 1 p.m. May 4, police said. The man and a woman then used the stolen credit cards a short time later at Target, at 307 Independence Plaza, Selden, police said. They drove away in what, police said, appears to be a white Chrysler 300. They are wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
