• Broadband initiative brings all of Monroe County online (rbj.net) — Mendon homes and businesses are now included in Monroe County’s newly completed broadband expansion, ending remaining “broadband deserts” in town and across nine other communities. Using $1.8 million in federal ARPA funds plus Spectrum’s investment, the county extended high‑speed internet to long‑underserved rural areas, helping farms, small shops, and residents handle ecommerce, online payments, work, and learning far more reliably.
