  1. Jerry Barmash reports that a 53-year-old man was struck and killed by an SUV early Tuesday while he was walking across Elmont Road near School Road. He was hit by a 2014 Honda CRV just after 4:30 a.m. (Patch)
  2. News 12 Long Island reports that a crash involving a pedestrian and an SUV in East Farmingdale closed Route 110 early Tuesday morning. The northbound side was closed between Smith Street and Milbar Boulevard. (News 12)
