Assemblyman Hosts Annual Pet Food Drive Through May
Long Island Cares and Baxter's Pet Pantry will benefit from the donations.

MERRICK, NY — In an effort to make sure area pets don't go hungry, Assemblyman Dave McDonough (R-Merrick) is hosting his 14th annual Pet Food Drive.
It runs through the end of May. Items donated will benefit Long Island Cares and Baxter's Pet Pantry.
All pet food should be unopened. You can give bagged food, canned food and kitty litter. Pet toys will also be accepted.

Items can be dropped off at McDonough's Bedford Avenue office.
