A man hit by a car in Bellmore on Monday has succumbed to his injuries. A girl is missing from Hempstead, while an older man who was missing has been found safe. A fatal train accident happened near Mineola Tuesday night.

4. A person on the Long Island Railroad tracks, east of Mineola, was hit by a train and killed Tuesday night at 10:54 p.m. (Daily Voice)
5. ABC TV looks into an investigation of a fire that destroyed a large part of a warehouse in Farmingdale. It started just before 7 p.m. on Tuesday night on Eastern Parkway. (WABC-TV)
6. Jeff Bessen has the update that Town of Hempstead Councilman Bruce Blakeman, a Republican, is the official winner over Democratic Nassau County Executive Laura Curran after all absentee ballots were counted. Blakeman ultimately had a 2,150-vote lead. (LI Herald)
