Bellmore-Merrick SD Offers Knowledge For Students With Disabilities

NORTH MERRICK, NY — An annual fair for students with disabilities and their families is coming to North Merrick.

All students, including those with different learning disabilities, are encouraged to attend.

The Recreational Services Fair is organized by the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District the Bellmore Union Free School District, and other local school groups.

It will be held on Nov. 15 from 7-9 p.m. at the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District Brookside Administration Building on Meadowbrook Road.

The fair is meant to "help to educate students and their families in getting a more in-depth understanding of the many recreational options available in the community," the district said.
