Birch Students Work As Librarian Assistants

Students spent the day learning the ins and outs of a library.

Several Birch School students won the opportunity to work as library assistants  in this year's Parent Teacher Associations' Penny Auction, according to the North Merrick School District.

The winners helped with book exchanges, re shelving and other library work.

A winner was chosen from each grade and each student learned the ins and out of libraries.
