Chatterton Students Make an Arkansas Connection

Merrick students recently got to make a connection with children in Arkansas.

Chatterton Elementary School third graders participated in a Mystery Skype call, and wound up connecting with Dawn Clevenger’s fourth grade class from Beebe Elementary School in McRae, Ark.

Mystery Skype is a videoconference call for students to connect with other schools across the country. During the call, the third graders had to uncover the location of the other class by asking about the climate, landforms, natural resources and sports teams.

Students then discussed similarities and differences about their school days and learned about life in Arkansas.
