Cops: Group Robbed Teen, Drove Past His House to Intimidate Him

The incident happened Saturday in Uniondale, police said.

Nassau Police are searching for a group of men who robbed a teen in Uniondale and later circled his block early Saturday.

At 1 a.m., the 18-year-old victim was walking with friends on Babylon Turnpike when he was approached by a group of men in a car, cops said.

After fleeing through rear yards, the victim was found on Centennial Avenue by the group, which was armed with a knife, police said.

One man knocked the victim to the ground before the group began to punch and kick him, officials said. The men stole the teen’s pink Nike sneakers from his feet and a wallet containing identification before fleeing, police said.

Later that day, police said, the same group stopped in front of the victim’s house and revved their car’s engine. They circled the block three more times before leaving, cops said.

The car was described as a newer model black Honda with silver writing on the lower part of the windshield.

The first man was described as 16 years old, 5-foot-4, medium build, afro-style hair, clean shaven, and was wearing black cargo pants and white shirt with stripes. He was armed with a black gravity knife, police said.

The second subject was described as an 18-year-old man, 5-foot-8, thin build, caesar-style haircut, chin hair, and was wearing a three-quarter sleeve baseball shirt, cops said.

The third man was was about 20 years old, stocky build, and was wearing a white t-shirt, black cargo pants, and a dark fitted cap with a New York logo.
