Cops: Man Sold Stolen Plumbing Supplies on eBay
The man took more than $50,000 worth of supplies from a Freeport company where he worked, police said.

An East Meadow man was arrested Friday for stealing plumbing supplies from his former employer and selling them on eBay, according to Nassau County Police.
Between December 2013 and February, David Bevilacqua, 36, sold more than $50,000 worth of plumbing equipment on eBay, cops said.
The items he sold were taken from Green Art Plumbing in Freeport, where he was employed as a shipping clerk, police said.

The company noticed items were going missing and, after determining he was responsible, fired Bevilacqua, officials said. After he was terminated, items continued to go missing and the company called the police, cops said.
Bevilacqua was charged with second-degree grand larceny. He was arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
